Freeze out plug?

If you are leaking oil from the back of your engine, 99% of the time it's going to be your rear main seal on the crank.

im actually-leaking anti-freezeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee, ughhhhhhhhhhhh! Its always somehting. :notnice: and i dont feel-Like having to do another intake manifold job agaiN!

Thanks Ant

Any possibility that the pipes/hoses that run under the upper plenum of the intake for you heater core are leaking, pooling, then running down the back of the motor?

Heater core hoses are tight, brand new. Im runnign a cobra upper/lower-So no EGR hoses to lower. My heater core would be leaking-If it were from the front firewall onto the passenger side header, thats nto leaking.
there really isnt much esle-besides leaky lower manifold or head... Im putting my $$$ on the manifold.
Whatta ya think???

When i had my anti-freeze leak it was coming from the back of the head on the driver side.

Dude-

let me ask you,, Was it whereabout the head meets the lower intake mani?
or from the head to block???

because-it seems to stop leaking once the car gets hot, actually-doesnt leak at all. When its cold and first started-It drips.

hit mer back,
Thanks Ant:nice: :flag:

Don't know if you got my reply but mine was coming from where the head and block are. Mine only had a problem when the radiator was higher then the back of the block. When i removed the head it was the back head bolt was rusted to crap and made a leak in the head gasket.

hey i got your reply, Thanks. As for my case-The AFR165's are like 1 1/2 years old, I got the heavy duty severe graphite H/G's on there which are also 1 1/2 years old and all ARP hardware for the heads. The bitch is leaking from the rear main seal area, popping out the tranny case-where it meets the engine. its a small drip until it gets hot-then completely stops. I was thinking mani.... But im not sure anymore!!!!!!!! :notnice:
