Friend offering me awesome deal on NOS Nitrous Kit, what should I do?

Hey guys my friend is offering to sell me his wet 5.0 kit for 150 bucks. He said it bolts like after the EGR spacer or something. I dont think the kit was used much. He has a 347 vortech 5.0, so hes gone through quite a few setups, hes a bit older than me, so I guess hes trying to help me out by selling it to me. ANYWAYS, do you guys think my 5.0 which burns oil at a semi bad rate (2 quarts every month or so) will handle a 75 shot? Its a 93 5.0 LX, I have stock gears, 255lph pump, AFPR, full exhaust, and nittos. What do you guys think?

I dont think you will have any problems .

I think you'd do better to decide what you want and head in that direction than put parts on your car based on what your friends are selling.

Well I plan to do a 351 swap, and its not going to be for a while so I figured this would be something to have some fun with until then.

Im not sure how many miles are on it, but not a lot, he has gone through quite a few setups.

Id jump all over that deal especially at $150. Its probably a $450-$500 kit. Even if you dont wanna use it you could turn around and sell it for probably $300 on ebay.

i'd use the money and fix it to get rid of the burning of the oil.
