Dude, depending on the other side of the car, that looks to be in the 10k+ range in damage.

Happened right at the intersection of dean road and 426, dean road is the road that goes down to university, not sure if you remember all that.

And yea aaron, the other side is pefcet, but his dad also said it looks to be about 10k in damages, not worth fixing at all. Better to just take the check from the insurance and get a new car. Hopfully they will give him a good amount and not change.

And he had a good amount of money into it, he bought the wheels, that was like 500, tires were 250 a piece for the rear, new front tires, had o/r xpipe, handheld programer (he still has that though), edlebrock t/b, cai, 3.55 gears, nothing serious but most of the bolt ons.

RIP

yea everything inside the car is good, interior is good, motor is good tranny is good, he said 2 of the wheels are bent though. Itll probably just go to a junkyard, id rather take the insurance money though, those cars arent like ours, you cant sell many of the parts, no one really looks for a gt 4.6, may get a few hundred out of that, the only thing i see in the car thats worth a good amount of money is the tranny, and maybe the two rims, interior parts, etc is just chump change.

Insurance is going to look at it today to see what they want to do, im positive their going to total it though.

yeah i forget it think its if the car has at least half of the cars value in damage they call it totaled i forget what it was.

when we totaled our bronco it was because of the same thing but we went into a ditch and flipped it many times. but at least the guy that caused it stopped to make sure we were OK and call for help.

It's called threshold. It's about 80% of the cars value (kelly blue book or lower depending on insurance company)

If the damage exceeds the threshold (70%-80% of the cars value, again depends on the insurance company) will be considered a total loss.
