Seems like a fun project, but where only 17, not worth all that, especially when your going to school and working 30hrs a week. Itll be easier to just buy a new car like most people do.

Nick,

That really sux. As long as he is ok everything else can be replaced still doesn't make up for some jackass costing you your car though. I made up my mind a long time ago that if you cause me to have an accident then you will be damn well involved and you don't just get to drive away.

Yea it does suck, I agree with what you said, his mom said he should have hit him, but in this situation we can look back and say that, but in the situation, there was many thing that could have happen, for one both drivers being killed, he also couldnt have known the guy would just drive away.

Doesent seem to be 10k worth of damage from the pix.. Is the frame bent in the front? Ive seen forse get fixed for under 5k you just need to find the right body shop.

You are right it is much easier to look back and say what we should have done. I actually did have an accident one time cause I basically was forced into it.

Guy in the lane next to me decided he was gonna merge over into my lane. I had no where to go and I wasn't gonna swerve into the car in the next lane so I blew my horn and he still hit me. Moron.

I have come to think the worst of most people on the road, especially around here. I have pretty much no faith that people will do the right thing anymore.

But in the end the important thing is he is ok.

Is this your buddy who comes out to the track and takes the pics and video?

Yea thats him. Youve seen his car out there before, not sure if you remember it.

And yea I agree, everytime I do something Im always expecting the other person to do something dumb, if its merging or right of way etc, i always expect them to just blow it off, like today, i come to a stop sign to turn left across a two lane road, i was waiting at the stop sign for like 2 minutes literally, and another car comes up to the stop sign to turn right, the cars stop and i start turning, i guess she thought since it was on her side she could go first? I just kept going but i was watching her the whole time, she tried to jump in but she saw me after a second. dumb people

Well talked to my friend. They ytalked to insurance and no news of if its totaled or how much theyll be getting back. He said he dosent want to get back in the wheel of a mustang again in the rain, i guess the expierence left him alittle paranoid, instant spin, hitting 2 poles at 40mph, must be pretty harsh. Hes probably going to look for awd turbo cars.

Look Its Aaron

Your car looks like it came straight from Mexico.

I beg to differ You pretty much have the replace the whole left side of the car man. New Quarter panel, looks liek the frame will need to be pulled, new door, possibly new hood, blending of the paint, and who knows the a arm or the cross member could possibly be damaged.

you can buy the car from the insurance company for 10% of what they give you for it usually....my friend bought his old 89 V6 Camaro back after it was writen off. He wanted the interior and some other parts to build another one...sold the motor and tranny too.
