Yesterday I was at a local track driving my car.. was at the apex of a right hand turn, not even going fast, when my car buckled.. I was scared to drive it home but everything felt okay.. on the way home brake started sounding like they were grinding on the rotor.. sure enough they were.. __ EBC Green Stuff Brake Pads just recently installed ( one week ago ).. the prongs on the outside of the pad (Front Left) were broken off into the caliper piston ( had to use needle-nose to get them out).. I have never seen this before.. Any feedback on this will be appreciated.. Also what could have caused these pads to just snap?? I will be checking on monday to see if EBC covers this in their warranty..

If they were just installed i would take it back to the place that installed them and bitch them out.

Now its time for some pbr/cobra calipers.

If you are returning to the installer, you might wanna leave out the corner carving info! Just my .02

That sucks! My friend has a set of the same brand and without warning, one front pad came apart and about a week later one rear pad did the same.

Yes I installed them and did it correctly.. But I will attribute this to my faulty install seeing that few people have had this problem.. The right side was ok.. Anyway picked up some at local autoshop until I resolve this issue with EBC Brakes.. Thanks for the input =)

P.S. One day before Autocross =\
