I did the SN95 brake swap but am having an issue with my front brake pads. The outer pad that grips the outside face of the rotor seems to "float" in the caliper. When everything is tighened down I can move the outer pad about an 1/8 of an inch. It looks like the tabs on the end do not seat firmly in the caliper but when I bought new pads that's all it came with so I assume there are no clips that hold anything in there. Anybody have this happen? I used the front parts off a '94 GT.

thanks

Cobra brakes are different but there are these stupid little flimsy clips that go on the ears of the pads to make for a tighter fit, better pad brands should include them with new pads. maybe you are supposed to reuse from the old pads if there where any.

That's what I was wondering. On my '99 Cobra they had similar clips and new pads came with new clips. I may have to rig something up.
