I installed a set of SVO calipers this weekend and now I have a softer pedal. Is this because I have to push more fluid into the caliper to acheive the same brake capability? If so, which master cylinder should I use? I have rear drum brakes right now but hopefully I'll be stepping up a little later? Should I get the one I'm going to need for the 4 wheel disc setup and just put a proportioning valve in so it doesn't make the rears lock?

thanks, Larry

I was using 255/50/16 PepBoys Futura Ultra Z's, they got me a best of 2.1 60', and that time, which is very slow even at the time. I should be doing mid 13's....

As for the LCAs, I felt a tremendous difference. No more side to side movement, or wheel hop.

Hi,

I'm using 73mm calipers, Sn94 MC and stock proportioning valve. It works pretty good but if I jump on the brakes fast the rears tend to lock up at least with 255/40R17 Nitto 555s. I haven't tried since I just added 275/40R17 Nitto 555r drag radials.....much better grip :-) My MM LCAs made a huge difference and I don't use quads anymore :-)
