Front brakes

Just acquired a 96 Mustang (Project/toy). This weekend did rear brake job (Calipers/ Pads) and now the front brakes pulse at low speed. Under 15 mph. Any ideas? All my experience is on pre 1975 autos.

I'd say change your front brakes too while ur at it. Your rotors could be warped.

Or, you could have air in the lines if u changed the calipers and didn't get them bleed properly.

i would change the front brakes and rotors, flush the whole brake system and look for signs of a sticking caliper.

If you only did rears, do the fronts now.

WHy replace the calipers?? Unless a piston is sticking, there is no need. Even though the rears tend to have the slide pins seize up, that bracket can be bought separately.

Also, if changing the pads, you should cut the rotors at least.

Thanks for the reply. Fronts are next, just ran out of daylight and need for transport. Fronts worked fine prior to doing the rears.

y not upgrade to 13'' rotors and mach/cobra calipers if u do track time with your car they will help alot!

yes I was refering to our post. Pin were seized up. Is there a special procedure fro bleeding the ABS system?

No. Nothing special due to the ABS. Just don't let the system go dry
