Hello,

Got a quick one for y'all. Is there a plastic air dam/chin spoiler dealie across the bottom of the front bumper? i have plastic on the sides that wrap around the front, but in the area below the radiator, there is nothing. I am thinking someone tore it on a curb and trimmed the unhurt parts and left it like that. I think there should be something there for air flow across the radiator.

If there should be one, anyone know where to get a new one? otherwise I'll have to fab something up.

Thanks in advance!

Yes there should be one mine was ripped off from a parking bumper. Ever since then it runs a bit hotter.

50resto.com sells them and I'm pretty sure your local Ford dealer should be able to get one for you. I don't recall the price though I think it's was like 20 bucks but don't quote me on that.

I bought a new one just before I left Canada. 20 Canadian bucks or less, so about 15 or so American....quote me.

It's not the whole peice, HISSIN, it's actually a 3 peice set, so all you have to buy is the center peice. It just clips in with those little plastic thingys

get this. i went down to the ford dealer today and he told me that there is no center piece! i did not push the issue - it was not gonna accomplish anything. now if i had a part number, etc, than i would be loaded for bear. i did look on his puter screen and i did not see the piece in the expanded view (only the sides, which i have).

anyhow, i will try hunting around online (LRS, etc) to find one. i am running hot at speed.....

Thanks again guys!
