Well, today I got my car up onto stands finally after taking apart a portion of the rear yeaterday. The thing is The passenger side is about a 1/4" higher than the driver side in the front only. The rear of the car came down square on the frame rails by the forward leaf spring mount.

I moved the front stands around from position to position with the same result.

I noticed a couple of things:
1. The floor pans a toast. Rusted through with holes (nothing new really)
2. The fraim rail/supports below the floors look to be in impecable shape both inside and out.
3. It seems to me that there should be a k-member in the engine bay, but then again I am from 5.0 world...

Any ideas or thoughts would be useful...

just out of curiosity, what makes you think the floor is straight? You'll get alot more than a 1/4 inch of flex just jacking up the car.

I am not sure the floor is straight
I am thinking the rotted out floor pans may be contributing to the flex I am seeing?

How do I get it squared up again for floor pan replacement?
