The MACH 1 delete still has the running pony in it. Is that what you are talking about?

Not sure if you're aware, but this is what the delete looks like (not my car):

If you did a Mach 1 grill delete, your bumper billet piece would look out of place. Either way, with the black pony, until you get within five feet of the front of the car it looks like you simply removed it.

Sorry, not a fan of the "strainer" grills in the front of most imports and SUV's. Seems to be one of those "cookie-cutter" mods where people buy X car, and slaps a CAI, exhaust, lowering springs, 20K HID's and billet grill and stereo you can hear 15 miles away on the car/SUV and not much else. I'm surrounded by tons of ricers with tha same basic "package" of the above mentioned parts that it really unfortunately becomes associated with that group's mentality.

Yes, i know that was a lot of generalizing, so i guess i'm trying to say that removing the billet stuff would look much less tacky. But if you have your heart set on it, keep em.

ditch it and get a mach 1 grill delete.

i dont understand your black and blue logic when the grill you have now is chrome.

Mach 1 Grille Delete and be done with it.

No offense but I don't like your billet grille at all. I think it would look great with a Mach 1 delete. Paint the pony black if you want also.

I'm puzzled as well, and the delete is black...

I've thought about painting the pony black to keep the black and blue look but I have the silver lip on my wheels, tail pipes, and badges so I guess they're a nice little accent to the black/blue.

The ONLY grill for these cars is the Mach 1 delete. All others just look bad (including the factory "strainers"), IMO.

+1

it took me 5 years to finally spend the money on a grill delete kit with the 3rd piece (i dont like spending my cash on parts that doesnt make it faster). it was well worth it though. i hate factory strainers, and they type of grill you have on your car looks way worse than factory imho. im not trying to bash you or your car, everyone has their own tastes. its just that chrome grills like that really does remind me of that pic of flavaflav...
