Is this really worth anything at the track? I see people doing it and I'm wondering what they saw with or without the pass headlight?

Thanks

Kurt

I would imagine it would do somethin if your airfilter was behind the headlight in the fenderwell.

mogs01gt thinks so he says it picked up his time.

I see a lot of GTPs do it as well

i did a test once at the track. 3 runs w/ headlight in, then one w/o. the three runs with it in were all about the same times. the one run w/ the headlight out, i gained 1mph and .1 over my best of the previous 3. it def helps. plus, it takes all of 30 sec to remove the headlight. even if it doesnt work, it still looks cool

^ That will work GREAT for it. I have the same RAI, and have the shield to block engine heat.

See I have a custom made ram air also that blows on my filter. A while back I gave it a shot. trapped 2 103.05 trapps in a ROW! Pulled the light, and haha ANOTHER 103.05 trap LOL. Guess my ram air works that good .

Everyone else gains 1MPH in the 1/4 by doing it.
