My 302 came out of a 86 Lincoln, with a rear sump pan, but my 67 that its going in is a front sump pan.
What year/ make/ model can I give the guy at the auto parts shop for a front sump screen and pick up tube that will work?
You can still get new pump screens for '60s Mustangs. The chain stores still list one, although I doubt that many/any stock it. I went to Online Auto Parts and Auto Accessories Store at PartsAmerica.com and found a pickup for a '68 302 Mustang like mine. I then clicked on "see all vehicles this product fits" and it shows a long list of '60s-'80s Fords and Mercurys.
