ok I've tried 2 different compressors. they do not work. I was trying to reinstall my stock V8 springs. I also tried my stock 4cyl spings. When I could not get the compressors to work, I tried to install them from the back, like I have read about. The strut and ball joint are connected, and you disconnect the control arm bolts, that bolt to the crossmember. This seemed to work a little better but the car has not motor or trans in it. So when I jack up the control arm, the spring does start to compress, but then it lifts the car up, so I cannot get the bolts back in. Any suggestions I tried having two people stand on the front of the car, that didnot work either.
