over the winter i swapped out the FRPP springs for some sportlines i had. The isolators on the frpp's were shot, and the sportlines didn't have any from the car is came off. I didn't think it would make that much of a difference, and the car is really down there now. Now driving it around when i hit a bump it bangs like a bitc*. Do u guys think its because there are no isolators on the front springs? or something else, i changed the shocks, springs, tie rods, and stab. links. I took it for an alignment and they said it looks like everything is fine, i didn't mention the lack of the iso's. So im leaning towards the lack of isolators.

Uh, yeah. THink about it, that's straight metal to metal contact now. New isolators are cheap. I'd say, pull the springs out, reinstall some iso's, and be done with it.

I just read in a mag that they installed lowering springs. They left out the front lower one on purpose. To get it lowered more. The thing about it being metal to metal is that the two never seperate from one another or move back and forth. It is no problem if you want it that low.

I replaced my springs several years ago and I didn't install the isolators both front and rear. I have no noises.
