Getting ready to install my Bullit suspension kit and want to make sure I understand everything before I go in...

The first question I have is... why do I have to unfasten so many nuts and bolts
on top of the strut? It says to undo three. Doesn't the strut just stick through with the long rod with just the one big nut holding it on? why undo the whole plate?

If you are only doing the strut... just crack the nut on the strut loose. You will throw your alignment out of whack otherwise.

:stupid: It is just the nut on top and the two on the bottom to undo the strut. The two bottom bolts were PITA's on mine hit them wit a generous amount of penetrating oil and have a good breaker bar to get them undone.

On mine I used heat (mapp gas torch) to heat the nuts a but on the lower bolts then sprayed them with WD40 to cool them, then reheat and cool a couple times per and they came off without too much trouble (jsut my 18" long ratchet).
