Anyone else have problems with the outside corners of the front tires wearing really fast. I only have 16k miles on them w/ correct pressure and stock suspension. I don't understand.

How fast is really fast? What tires do you have and how do you drive it.

I have 16k miles on the car, a huge majority are highway miles, and sides are worn so bad that I'm going to need new ones in a couple of weeks or so. I'm talking worn down to or past the wear bar, but that is just on the outsides of the front tires. I have the stock goodyears and I drive normal w/ a 50 mile drive a day for work. Most of the 50 miles is spend under 40mph or so.

my 00 gt wore the outside edge of the tires too
when i pulled them off at 8k they were probably 2/3 to 3/4 worn out just on the outside edge
I had the alignment checked and it was within ford specs
the pirellis on my saleen rims were wearing nice and even when i pulled them off when i sold the car

outside edge wear is normal with Mustangs and Fox chassis in general.

best thing you can do is have the camber set to -1.00* and the toe set to +.13" (+.25*), and rotate the tires every other oil change. beyond that, there really isnt anything that will slow the wear down.

All I can say is rotate, rotate, rotate. My wifes car (avatar) is lowered 2 inches, and I rotate the tires every 3,000 miles. We just replaced the 275-35-18's with 44,000 miles on them.
