I really never noticed it until one of my control arm bushings on the front started to pop out and allowing the tire to move just enough on about full turn to hit the back of the arm and rub the tire on the sway bar. Well I've replaced the control arms with with 03 cobra arms and I currently have the bullitt suspension kit on my car. The only other thing that has ever been replaced has been the rack with tie rod ends due to the rack leaking. Has anyone else ever had an issue with the tire rubbing on the sway bar, and by rubbing it hits and still can turn the wheel about another 1-2" and make the tire dimple.

I'm running the stock 17x8 split 5 spoke wheels with a 255/45/17 falken 452 for the rubber. The thing that bothers me here is if I were to go to a 9" wide wheel I think I'd have a lot more rubbing/hitting. I'm stumped to why I'm rubbing so much on the sway bar.

Oh your still on the stock wheels, wow that is a bit of a mystery.

Tell me about it.... I'm stumped as to why in the world it's rubbing. If I'm able too I'll try to see if I can get my gf's camera and take a quick little video and show how much the tire is hitting/rubbing on the sway bar.

There's only one way a front sway bar can attach to a vehicle correct??
The bullitt sway bar is just a few mm thicker then the stock and same dimentions correct?
