Hey All, anyone have the QA1 MUK01 k member with control arms and the wheels are not centered? I have the ‘96-‘04 spindle and an 18x9 rim with a 5”5/8 offset. The issue is the wheels are set forward and does not have clearance to turn. Before I go and modify the control arms I just wanted to see if anyone else had this issue and if there was an easy solution.
Thanks

Does the QA1 k member and control arms have any offsets? Wondering if it’s doubled up on moving things forward? I know you can get certain maximum motorsports control arms to move things forward/rearward/center (stock)

Having the control arms flipped from one side to the other might do it but it would pit the sway bar tabs on the back which would be super obvious.

Need to call QA1 and see if the k-member and/or the control arms have any forward offset in them.

QA1 helped me check to see if I was shipped the correct parts but from there not much help.

They have to know if their k-member and/or control arms moves the spindle forward or not.

I believe you can use the stock lower control arm so that would be one way to check to see if the control arm does move it forward. Drop a plumb bob from the ball joint on the QA1 ball joint to the ground and make a mark. Remove that control arm and install the stock one and do the same thing. This will only tell you is there is a difference in the geometry of the control arms.

Better yet just read this thread (10+ years old so not sure if there have been any design changes) as it looks like it moves 2" forward.

I really think the lower control arms might be the issue and it appears the k-member can move to the back or to the front so make sure you have it sucked all the way back.
