Since i bought my car, i noticed that that when i turn the steering wheel all the way doing a U turn either to my left or right , the inside of the wheel and tires rub on the arms. The weights on the rims are have a deep scratch.

what can i do to fix this???

Thanks guys

PS: i just installed New Ball joints, sway bar busings and has an alignment done.

this on stock arms ,4 lug rotors, and 10holes

Hi,

Ford has washers that will fix this, they are hard plastic about 1/4" thick that snap over the rack arms and limit the travel. Part Number is N804842-S and they are pretty cheap. To install just loosen the clamp, pull the boot back on each side and clip the washers over the rack arms.

My stock rack had one on each side from the factory and I had to add one on each side so my 9" x 17" Cobra Rs would clear.
