Looking good . Let us know when you get that baby on and how you like it. I still wish they would come out with the install kit for the 99-04

OOh, I want one. That looks like such a simple install.

eidt: why would this kit work on a PI swapped car but not a Complete PI engine?

I'm not sure cause the install kit is simple. A few brackets to relocate coils, new hoses etc, inj, fuel pump new ecm,..I'm not sure if the fuel rails are the same for 99 up. Maybe they don't bolt up. Different types of fuel systems.

This thing is deceptive in pics...Its HUGE in person.

I won't have it on for a good month or 2. I can't decide what shortblock to get. I want to get a VT 324 ci big bore/stroker...or a Coast 310ci shortblock. The latter is atleast a 1000 cheaper and iron block. I think both will work great with this blower. More Cubes + Roots blower Torque baby

Go with VT, they have proven themselves time and time again when it comes to modulars. CHP has not done so yet.

damn man that thing looks nice! Definitely let us know how it performs, looks like a nice cheaper alternative to the KB. Wasnt there a write up about how the bore to stroke ratio on the 324 was all messed up and would cause problems? What about just doing a 302 BB instead of the BB/stroker combo?

Now, if Im reading this right, all we need is a hardware kit. Im calling Ford first thing in the morning to find out what that "kit" is!!!

Very slick, I was thinking about getting one but I couldnt spend the money on internals as well. What are you doing to correct the fact that your compression is higher? And how many lbs are you gonna be running with that?

NICE! Looks very nice, very factory.
One think I notice is the thermostat housing is on the left side...mines on the drivers.

Are you going to do any port work on it?

You get an install kit but they don't have one for 99 up cars but they have the blower unit for the PI heads. If you can figure out how to get your fuel system to work..IE fuel rails etc then you can run this set up. You will just have to be creative.

I'm gonna get a new forged shortblock with 19cc dished pistons. Then with the ported heads my CR should be @ 9.0 to 1. I'm gonna run the 8lb pulley if I can find one. Can't run too much without an intercooler...athough there is always Methanol.

I guess they moved the T-stat over to the left for clearance. They provide new hoses etc with the install kit.

I'm gonna look into some porting but its a 1 piece unit so that will make it tough. Probably be able to port the TB opening and lower runners some.

yeah KB doesn't make a kit for PI swapped NPI cars and they are real PITA's about what they sell. I called a few times to see if they would mix & match me a set up.
Plus I got this for $2300 blower & install kit so I couldn't pass it up. Thats more then 1000 off the price.
