FRPP 347

if its a 5 speed i sould say around 390-400 to the tires. Is he keeping it carbed or throwing the EFI on? def need to know more about the car itself, and supporting mods to give you something accurate, but i would hope high 11's driving well with the right parts.

we just put one in my brothers 84GT nice engine for the price, the car made 382rwhp and 353rwtq and it runs pretty damn strong, this is with a mighty demon 750 card, 13/4 headers, mac 3" pro-chamber,and mac 3"pro dumps also a 5 speed with 4.10s. We got an awsome deal on it from one of the local ford dealers was $6100 + tax delivered.

I have that engine in my 65 FB.
On a dyno jet 382 RWHP and 362 ft.lbs tq. SAE corrected
I am happy as this is a 15% loss thru the drivetrain which is typical for a manual trans.
That is with Holley 750 DP,FPA full length headers magnaflow ss exhaust w/x pipe,G force T5 with a Ford 9".
There are to many varibles
(weight,tires,suspension,driving ability,track prep/cond...etc)to est. E.T.

This guy is running stock everything else in the car, no subframes or anything. What should he be looking at in terms of chassis and suspension upgrades? He's also got R compound tires on there. BTW, the price was 8300.00 not 9500. WTF was I thinking?

Deff. subframes my brother's car didnt have them when we put the motor in and with full drag suspension the car would twist like crazy getting on it in first and second gear. He is also running draglites with MT E/T streets so it hooks up pretty good. For the suspension it is his choice, it depends on what he wants to do with the car. eibach makes some good kits for both drag and street applications. He should also look into aftermarket upper and lower control arms.

Mod number 1:
Sub Frame connectors

Buy or fab a good set that can be welded in
(with 3 attachment points if possible).
Car will launch better, ride better and not twist itself into a pretzel creating
unnecessary damage to your car!!
