The good: This is a great little bike to start riding on and a very light, easy bike to toss around in the corners. It has enough power to make it fun, but not so much that you'll kill yourself on it. I rode this thing for a couple of years and had a blast on it. You're not completely laid down on the tank all of the time like a crotch rocket, but you can still ride it aggressively.

The bad: The first owner laid it down and put a nice dent in the tank. Its not a spotless bike, but your first bike shouldn't be. It also does not run right now. It has sat for a few years now with old gas in it and my guess is that the carbs need to be rebuilt. The kits are something like thirty bucks on eBay.

I haven't been on it in a few years, and I have lost interest in riding (I have a little baby girl on the way in the next couple of weeks). Because of how long it has sat, I would put new tires on it and have the chain lubed or replaced.

I'm selling it as is for $500, or if I get around to rebuilding the carbs and get it running I'm asking $800.

Nice bike. Suzukis are solid bikes, I have a 1998 GSXR 750 and it'll still smoke any new 600cc bike on the road. 500cc is a perfect starting size. Not too big that you'll be poppin wheelies without meaning to, but not too small that you'll get bored with it in a month. You should have no problem selling, all I see for that price on Craigslist is crap.

That's a great description of it. It's a great bike to start out on. You keep your self out of trouble, but don't get bored. I hate to let it go, but the little baby girl that is on her way makes you look at things differently. Someone is going to get a fun bike for a good price here.
