As of now this is just a feeler. My wife recently ran my truck hot and blew an H/G and fried some rings, so I'm putting a hold on my 4v fox project, since I can't afford to finish it anytime soon.
As far as what I have is a full '93 MK VIII teksid motor. I stripped the motor down to the block and it's at my machinist now getting bored 0.020" over. The guy does awesome work and his name is Tim Key in Cave City, KY if you want to know more. I also have brand new Probe SRS forged pistons (0.020" over 18.1cc dish) with rings, an '03-'04 8-bolt crank, King high performance rod bearings, and RPM Int. forged H-beam rods.
I will sell the block and rotating assembly pieces for $2000 or trade for a set of nice aluminum SBF heads and rockers. Also could work on something partial or including other parts for some lower end SBF aluminum heads.
I will sell everything that I have for $2800. That includes the stock B-heads, timing cover, intake, throttle body, air tube, timing pieces, oil pan, mains, cam covers, 1 good stock coil, IMRC (stripped down, going to fix own deletes), wire harness, various sensors, all belt driven accessories. Almost everything to get it running. For that I am wanting the same SBF parts as stated above, plus boot or possibly other sbf goodies.
