Ok well I'm right in my headswap (AFR 165) and cam swap (FTI) and I need to know about the pushrods I'll need. I bought a pushrod lenght checker but I think I bought the wrong one (Too short) so It wont help me much.

I just wanna COMPARE something. For all of you who are running STUD mount 1.6 roller rockers, and that have a cam with an intake lift between .530 and .550, (lets say ) what size of pushrods are you using ? Stock pushrods are 6.272" right ?

Yes you'll tell me that it will change for every combo. Perhaps, but since we are using STUD mount and not pedestal, we have a little bit of PLAY with our new adjustable stud mount roller rockers (1.6). I might not even have to buy another pushrod lenght checker if I see that all the answers are pretty much the same. Do I make sense a little ?

Please help me.

I have pedestal mount AFR's with an FTI cam. I'm running 6.300" pushrods with shims. Just triple check the geometry if you use the stockers, and yes they are 6.272"

Paul, I didn't know you are running pedastals. Is that by choice or just what you got?

My pushrods are 6.250", but my heads are also milled 0.020" which would basically put the pushrods at the stock lenght then otherwise.

I bought pedestal mount because at the time that was the advise that was given to me... it was bad advise. I should have gone stud mount, had I done so my valvetrain issues I fought so long with would have been much easier to fix. NEVER buy pedestal mount heads... they are too much of a PITA.
