fuel/ carburation

i just bought an 85 gt with an 88 motor in it. the guy sold the fuel injection things. he just put a holley carb and an eddlebrock intake on it. i was wondering is there any way that i could get a few more miles per gallon? i mean right now i can watch the fuel gage going down as i driv it. i know that it is going to guzzle fuel but, should i really need to fill the thing up every 3 days. and it is not like i drive ity that much. it is winter and all and it does take a few minutes to warm up but still. then is there a fuse in the fuse pannel for the radio because i didn't get the origonial manual with the car and the radio doesn't work so if any body can tell me or show me a solution to any of my problems i will be very happy.

yes carb to fuel injector's you will easily gain milage and even more power.

What size holley is on the car?
Has it been tuned?

WHat gear ratio is in the car. . .

Carb cars can get just as good fuel econ as EFI so the answer is yes, but we need more info...

You can tune your carb. could be running rich. would save you some gas.
Also make sure your idle is set right. Maybe too high.

Just some things to check.
