I have a 98 Ford Mustang, V6. After replacing the fuelpump, i smell gasoline in and outside my Mustang. I even got stopped by a friendly driver behind me and he said, i am loosing gasoline in the curves, especially when i do a curve to the left. I went out of my car and looked under the tank, but i saw nothing, no leak or lake. I went back to my mechanic and he said, a seal/gasket/plasic thingy is broke. between the filler and lower tank-entree. But he could not name it. He don´t know how to call this thinggy. I live in Germany and i can order spare-parts from friends. But i have to name this spare-part. Can somebody please help and post some photos/ pictures from the tank-fuel-system or explosive diagrams, please?
