Fuel gauge prob's!!!! Ohm's=sending unit questions....HELP!!

Guys!!!

Need some Help regarding the factory fuel sending unit. What are the Ohm's on the factory unit. i was thinking of replacing the factory gauge-and I needed to know-to match up with an aftermarket gauge-Like an autometer.

Has anyone on this board-Ever added an aftermarket Fuel gauge without changing the sending unit to match????

Any info is greatly apprciated....Because after doing the white face gauge's-everything but the Fuel gauge is correct. It stay's on F forever, and never drops... Its like WTF!!!!
