I did the PI swap on my 98 gt and I have other bolt-ons like cai, plenum, tb etc. I was just wondering if getting new injectors would produce anymore performance with this set up and if so what lb. injector would be the best? Thanks for the information in advance

I'm also in the process of getting longtubes...didn't know if that made a difference.

for what you have I would get a set of 24's, no bigger than that. with the pi swap and full exhaust and every bolt-on you would have over 300 at the flywheel and the larger injectors would be needed.

Thanks My brother keeps telling me that I should get a nitrous kit but I'm not sure if I want to do that and I'm not sure what shot to run or anything. Ever since I saw my buddy's 98 cobra have trouble starting and then seemed like it didn't want to run after he raced an evo 8 I've been kind of worried about doing that to my car.

some people like it others dont, its all up to the persons taste. I have never had it and dont want it, my car has a new motor going in now and will be toped off with a blower this spring. I know a lot of guys here on :SNSign: do run it and have NO problems, I think its all in the installation and weather or not you abuse your car spraying to much to often.

I have every bolt on plus Stage 1 cams and MPH Ported Heads and when steeda did the install they said that my 19lbs were flowing plenty for those modifications and they did not have to upgrade

Everybody is going to have their own opinions on what size injectors to run, but for this application with the PI swap and full bolt-ons most everyone would say to run 24's. I think the 19's limit is around 325hp I think, and that would be pushing it, I would rather be sure to have enough fuel than to not have enough.

I just had Patriot stage 2 heads and 233/247 113 LSA cams installed on my steeda. We had to go with 30# injectors. the 24's were being over run. I also have Steeda pulleys and exhaust. I am definatley not a guru, just my experience.

to the Original poster, 19lb. injectors are still up to your task. No need to buy new injectors till you need them.

19's will take you quite a ways in N/A trim.
