Fuel Injector ticking, something to really worry about?

Well, its about 500 miles after my headswap and my fuel injectors are ticking. I think they have been doing it for at least 100 miles. Is it a problem that I should resolve right away? Like replace the injectors soon? Or is it okay? Also, could it be the O-rings on the injectors? I replaced the rings, but maybe they didnt seal right...would that cause a tick? or a leak? Any help would be appreciated.

check the codes? try some 93 octane now since you got a high compression. ticking could mean pinging although i don't know the sound your car's making.

Im using 94 to be safe, and no codes present

maybe a misfire undetected, you threw the stock plugs back in? you might of ripped one of them.

if the engine is runnig smooth, you are fine. the injectors in both my Focus and Mustang are kinda loud. if the injector was messing up, you'd feel it.

Its not messing up at all, runs smooth as hell. Its kinda annoying but I just wanted to make sure that its not gonna damage anything or give out on me.

The thing that really made me notice it was that it wasnt NEARLY this loud before the headswap. So I was worried at first that it was the new heads, but I am like 95% sure its the injectors. I listened to it, and its coming from the fuel rail for sure.

All new plugs, less than 500 miles on em.

Maybe one of the plugs is coming loose, and is getting ready to eject itself. Thats what mine did.

ANY ticking at all, check your plugs for tightness mon!!!

my car has been ticking for 4000 miles, still runs the same, i had it checked and ford says everything is fine well see when i drop in the fox lake heads.

Okay, well I guess I will just drive it...tick away I suppose. Someday I will get new injectors, but for now Ill just let her tick.
