One or more of my fuel injectors appear to have reached the end of their life.

Is the stock flow rate 19lb?

Anyone know a good brand for replacement injectors? I don't need performance or anything; I just need something that doesn't stick open

I thought about hitting up AutoZone or O'Reilly's, but I've never had much luck with intelligence at either place in my town.

I suggest getting them from ford.

www.gefracing.com and yes they are 19lb injectors.

Thanks.

The folks at the local ford dealer said it would be $100 per injector, and Autozone said it would be $85 per injector. I knew something wasn't right.

I'll hit up gefracing ;-)

You usually buy them all at once, but at the autozone they will sell you them individually.

That is WAY too expensive for an injector I'd think. They sell sets for GT's for $350 brand new at most places. I got mine for $200 on eBay with 3k miles on them. Those prices are OUTRAGEOUS unless there's something special about a V6 injector.

I don't understand the price difference either. Unless the folks reading the computer screen don't know what they're talking about. Maybe QTNY: 1 means one set, but they read it as 1 injector.

Oh well, already placed my order with 3 day delivery from gefracing so that I can replace them this weekend.

Anyone know of the ford racing injectors come with new o-rings or do I have to buy those separately?

They should come with new o rings, or heck i hope so.

How much were they for the set?

Dang, shame is that I read this thread too late. I still have my old injectors around here somewhere..............had to bump up to 42# to get my car to whistle right.

I'll dig and see if I can find em around here somewhere for somebody in the future if needed.

They came in the mail yesterday so I have a small adventure ahead of me for this weekend.

I also have my Cobra R hood and S351 wing, but the Saleen side skirts are on back order so I have to wait another 2 weeks for the ground effects

I'm thinking about hitting up Pep Boys for some Bilstein Shocks/Struts and Eibach springs, but I'm not sure if I want prolines or sportlines. I have a 285/35 tire in the front, and I'm afraid it will rub if I drop the car too far. I'll probably hold off on the springs and buy a coil-over kit for the Bilsteins.

Also, will aluminum c/c plates hold up to the stress given by coil-overs? I read on maximum motorsports' site that steel c/c plates are ideal for coil-over cars.
