Hey everyone - I have a '94 GT with a leak coming from the fitting (pictured) attaching the fueld pump to the pressure line. It was leaking (spraying really) dramatically. I pulled it apart and found 6 o-rings (2 large, 4 small) three of which were badly deteriorated. Figuring this was the problem, I jumped over to the parts store to find new o-rings. I replaced all 6 and it still leaks like crazy.

So, I have 2 questions:
1. Does anyone know the size of these two o-rings? Are they metric or standard?
2. Is there a particular order or method to installing them and putting the fitting back together?
3. Is there an alternative I can pursue if this won't work out?

I called Ford - they said they never sold just the o-rings, and don't sell the line any more.

Thanks,
Jon

Long shot here, but are the o-rings you bought safe for use with fuel? Normal ones would just fall apart when the fuel is put to them.

It's possible I suppose, but they are still intact - it started leaking again immediately - it didn't work for a while then quit again. Where would I get fuel specific o-rings?

There is absolutely no need for it when talking about cars, its basically chemically inert go look at prices then you will get the joke.

Odd Ford would use (6) o-rings??? Done mine before for a pump swap and never noticed that. I thought they all were the Brown monster o-rings (1) each per connection.

This is from LMS.. maybe you should call & speak to them?? They also carry the factory line to the front for crazy money... Seems your not getting the correct size o-ring. These are the front ones... seems the back would be the same.
