My stock fuel gauge doesn't work, what else is new. Any how, I was looking around the boards and noticed someone had a good point. For the price of a new sending unit to get the stock guage to work, I could get an autometer one for cheaper.

My question is, how good are the autometer electrical fuel level guages? Also wondering which one I should get, I don't quite understand what the different OHMS mean.

TIA,
Justin.

im sure the autometer is pretty accurate, but i dont know for sure. im curious too, so bump.
oh, how much is the autometer gauge and sender?

I have the following Autometer guages and they are all very accurate. All are electric, except speedo. Main dash area: mechanical 160 mph speedometer, 10,000 rpm tachometer, fuel level ((make sure you get the correct one for your year vehicle. I got the 89 and under guage first and it read backwards for my '92)), water temp, oil pressure, volts; A/C cage: fuel pressure guage, nitrous pressure guage, pyrometer. I would recommend them. They are much better than stock.
