Fuel line disconnect from fuel rail/FMU

So I'm trying to remove the fuel lines from the return port on the rail, to the paxton fmu...

I bought some of the metal tools to remove fuel lines from auto zone (set of 4, alum, anodized..)

Anyways, the biggest one in the kit is a 1/2" ... and its to small, it doesn't fit around the connecter and therefore wont slide in push the spring in...

I took some wrenches and the smallest one I had handy that would fit over the metal connecter was 9/16" but it was a little to big...

Is there some other size i should have got??

Get the cheap plastic set they have in the tool section. They are like $10, and they work better than the metal ones. I have also seen the metal ones break and damage the connection.
