This may be just a stupid question but I'm new to the EFI world (mostly only worked on Carb. cars) but when I saw my 89 conv. well that was it for me.
Well I'm cleaning it up and noticed the fuel lines are a bit rusted so I was going to replace them with braided line from the tank all the way to the motor which solves the problem and I think looks nice too except a friend said he didn't think I could use braided due to the pressure and that is why it was metal. Not knowing EFI too much I searched summit and jegs but none of the lines say for FI or Not ???? If I can please tell me what size and fittings I will need if not guess I'll have to buy a line bender.

It's kind of a pain unless you buy a whole system. Most guys run -8 or -10 all the way to the regulator and then run a -6 return. Braided line is what all the high dollar fuel systems run. I believe that aluminum lines are an injection no no.

Thanks guys. Yeah I figured it would be a pita but it's gotta be easier then bending line and trying to thread it around....plus braided line handles vibration better. Thanks again!!!
