Fuel line size

I'm finishing up a 2.3 T in a 78 II. The original line is 1/4", I was planning on using that for the return line and run a new line for the main, is 1/4" enough or do I need to run 3/8" ?

My goal with this enging is about 300hp and no more, that's plenty for the purpose of the car. Is 1/4" line enough for 300hp?

PS. For thoes who don't know, the 78 II was carburated and only had one line, that's why I have to run another.

Ok, I got my 5/16" line and everything else I should need.

Stinger, that's one hell of a nice lookin' fuel rail. I'm still new to the 2.3 turbo world, why would that rail be so much easier than the stocker? I'm gonna have to get it working with the stocker for now, I really don't have $125 to put into a fuel rail at this point.
