Has anyone mounted their aftermarket fuel pressure regulator directly to the back of aluminum aftermarket fuel rails?
I know the stock factory setup is like this, but the mallory fpr is much heavier then the stock unit and I'm concerned that the extra weight and vibration would crack the fuel rails or cause the injector o-rings not to seal properly. I'd fabricate a mounting bracket that would attach to the rear intake mounting bolt to help support it, but not sure it's a good idea since most of the ones I've seen are remotely located and attached with hose. Any thoughts? Thanks.
