Is there such thing as too much fuel pressure?

91 5.0, stroked to 347, TF Street Heat Intake, TF heads. Walpro 255 LPH pump, 30# injectors.

I would like to run this Race Pump regulator, rated for 45-70# (looking for the dual outlet capability). Everything I read says stock motor should be set at about 40#; I'm not stock, but don't want to be in a situation where I can't set the pressure properly--is 45# going to be too much for my application?

Your maf should be set for your injectors. So at 40# your injectors are running at 30#... At 45# your probably going to run just a little rich. But that all depends on your combo I run mine at 43# and I have no problems. Anytime you increase the fuel pressure you increase the #ig on the injector. (to put it simply).
