My 99 GT has been sitting for 2 1/2 years and I wanted to drain the old gas before the new setup is fired. There are 2 external filters on the pump that have been damaged due to the extended contact with nasty fuel. One filter is a small sack, probably 2"x2" which clips to the side of the pump, towards the bottom. The other is a small disc, about the size of a quarter, that clips onto the underside of the pump. The sack has almost completely desintigrated and the disc has a small puncture. I was told by my local Ford dealer that these parts could not be ordered seperately and my only option was to drop $300 or so on a new pump. Is there anywhere I could order these? I will try to have pictures of up here soon. Any help is greatly appreciated. THANKS!!
