fuel pump install

I bought a svt focus pump and today I went to install it. I dropped the tank and removed the metal plate that covers the pump assembly after that I discoverd the entire assembly is cocked forward like its on an angle with the top slightly facing the engine, I can't remove the damn assembly cover to pull the pump and put in the new one is the basket bolted down in some way? no matter what I do it doesn't seem to wanna budge.....

i want to know this also i am going to be adding a focus pump and pulleys over the next 2weeks

is there a write up on doing the pump some were

The basket isn't bolted in...there's two little push-in type clips on either side of it.
