Hello everyone,
A month ago I was having the fuel pump continuously running problem. Turned out to be a bad capacitor on the EEC. I solder the capacitor and was on my way.
I was at a gas station a few weeks ago and my car wouldn't start after I turned it off. I went into the passenger fender and pulled out what I think is the fuel pump relay and a/c wot shut off relay. They were completely soaked in water and look corroded. I blew them off with air at the gas station and put them back in and the car started up.
Yesterday I was leaving work and my car wouldn't start. The fuel pump is not priming when I turn the key. I tried swapping the relay even though they have different numbers on them and it didn't do anything. And I went to the auto part store to try and get a relay but they couldn't find anything like my relays.
I tried jumping the EEC test connector FP port to ground with the ignition on and didn't hear the relay at all. I then swapped my relays again. Now I can hear the FP relay clicking.
But the pump isn't turning on even with the relay clicking...?
Where should I start to look from here?
Thank you guys I appreciate it. The pictures are of what I think is my fp and a/c wot cut off relays
