yeah i was beginning to feel the same way... but what bugs me is that there is no trace of the wiring for the relay.. wich leads me to believe its a earlier model harness...
i think my best choice of action is to find a 91-93 (preferably a 93) stock donor car.. v8 equipped.. and just transfer all of the wiring over to my car.. because this is only part of my problem... that and i could use some interior pieces.. refurb the doors... ect..
