Fuel Pump Relay

Fuel pump does not shut off....keeps going even when key is off and removed. Bought new relay...where is relay located???? Been told its under hood...under the Dr seat..yada yada yaaa. This is driving me crazy.

I have a 90 and 91 and both have it under the drivers seat. If it isn't there, I think some had it under or around the MAF

you can check the wiring to the FP relay. if a new relay does not solve it, try swapping the EEC relay. when it goes haywire, it can keep stuff energized when the key is off. it's in the pass kick panel about the puter.

Yup...it is under the seat. Didn't see it when i looked with the seat still in car...but when i took it out to replace clutch quad.and cable....there she was!! Slapped new relay on and VIOLA!!
Since Monday AM;
New FMPP Clutch kit
BBK adj. quad and cable
Fuel pump relay
New valve cover gskts
New heater core

Yup...it is under the seat. Didn't see it when i looked with the seat still in car...but when i took it out to replace clutch quad.and cable....there she was!! Slapped new relay on and VIOLA!! Works like she otta!!!

Fuel pump relay
New valve cover gskts
New heater core
