Where does the wire for power to the Fpump run from....I guess what I'm asking is...with out jacking up the car and crawling under the car can I access the wire else where such as in the trunk area by the tank does a wire come from inside and drop down above it...........I changed out my ignition switch and harness and replaced the sensor under my seat 2 weeks ago for other reasons
TODAY I WENT OUT AND STARTED THE CAR, PUMP CAME ON ,STARTED, GAVE A LITTLE GAS, DIED, TURN KEY i CAN NOT HERE THE FUEL PUMP SO THE CAR DOSNT START . MY CAR IS IN A ODD PLACE THAT IS WHY I AM ASKING.
I HAVE ALL OF THE DIAGRAMS FROM TMOSS.

make sure your inertia switch isn't tripped...it's in the hatch behind the drivers side tail light. The power wire goes from the relay to the inertia switch and then on to the fuel pump. There's a connection under the car where the wiring from the fuel pump and fuel level sender connect to the wiring from the inertia switch...you could maybe hook a battery up to it if you know what you're doing and if the pump turns on, bad wiring, relay or tripped inertia switch. Good Luck.

What year car? The wire colors changed after 90. The 91-93 cars had different colored wire for the same circuits.

With the exception of the last 2 feet of wire, all the fuel pump wiring is inside the car. The last 2 feet is a pink wire for the pump power and a black wire for the pump ground.

You would be better off to take some time and create you sig in the user CP (control panel). That way your car year & mods would show up with each post.
