I plan on installing a 96-97 fuel tank in my 98 gt. The reason for this is that I still have the o.e. intank pump along w/ an inline pump and fear that the intank pump is on borrowed time.rather than replace it w/ the same crap I want to replace with a 255 lph intank and ditch the in-line pump. Problem is you cant install it in a 98 unless u dremel out the canister which will make you lose the fuel baffle which you need if you ever run your tank low. That is where the older style tank comes in. My question is: does the 98 have two separate harnesses for the pump and fuel level sender on like on 96- 97?
IKnow that on a 98 the pump and sender are integral but i was hoping that there were 2 different connectors.If not, how would I go about hooking it up?
