fuel?

so i got another question my car while im driving if in neutral or coasting will die kinda like chug and shut down, i replaced the fuel filter and air filter just more or less because they needed to be changed anyways hoping that that would maybe help.....it didnt...so my question is would this be the fuel pump? it is really a pain to drive because as i slow down i have to push on the gas so the car doesnt die and since its a 4 spd its a pain in the butt.. but anywasy for some good news my interior is coming along nicley taking alot longer than i had hoped but thats waht u get with being a full time student having two jobs and a girlfriend haha but its ALL worth it but anyways i got my new wood steering whele in today and put it in, then put in my three point seatbelts ill post pics if anybody wants to see ten the girlfriend called cuz she was going out of town so i had to stop and go see her but she came back and helped me work for a lil while gotta love a girl who loves helping u work on a car..but anyways i hope everyone is having fun and being safe

Could be a number of things. Need more info. When was your last full tune up?

it sounds to me like your idle speed is too low, or your idle mixture is too lean or too rich. i agree though you need to tune this engine.
