Fuggin soccer mom drivin a new GT

Well this might pi$$ off some of you but anyway,

I am at ther Ford dealership, everyone is literally drooling at this new Windveil Blue GT. As you all know, the cars are in tight supply so just even seeing one is cool.

Normally I wouldnt care WHO is driving the car, but of ALL PEOPLE who could own it, a chubby soccer mom waltzes out of the dealership like a high school girl, then proceeds to drive off, no doubt to buy some groceries or something. So wrong.

I know people are gonna get mad, so cut me some slakc, but that was painful to watch,

i sure hope this is sarcasim. you don't know a damn thing about this woman. maybe she was buying it for her husband. maybe she was buying it to acompany her badass cobra. Or maybe she is like my mom who has been a fan of the mustang since it's debut, and she knows what she has but doesn't mean that she uses it in the same way as us. but lets her son

so needless to say this is one of the dumbest threads i have ever read.

i will be a soccer dad one day does that make me not important in the mustang world??

My mom drives a 03 mustang cobra. She has driven cobras all her life...3 total. Her first car was a mustang cobra when I only got a Ford Tempo for my first. I guess I do not really see the problem. She probably does like my mom and waits until no ones looking and lets her rip when she is late to pick her kids up. I cought my mom when she picked me up from school. The whole car smelled of rubber!

My dear wife, while only a fiance at the time used to borrow my old 1985 Chevy PU. For some reason the right rear tire wore out a LOT faster than the others...

Gals are sneaky about their smoky burn out-full throttle habits.

BTW I thought this thread was a little tongue in cheek humor.

Any girl/woman in a Mustang is cool in my book.....and it opens the door for a conversation starter.

PS. A soccer mom owned my GT before i bought it. SHe had 4 kids and a mini-van. After dropping the kids off at school in the minivan, she would go to work in the GT. She called it "Stress relief"

I can show you two soccer moms who will blow the frigging doors off most cars on this site. One drives a low 10 sec GN and another drives a high 9 sec 5.0.

What the frick business is it of yours who buys it.

Stop drooling and do something about it, if not shut your piehole!!!

Dude so what? First we have a thread asking if it would look wrong if an Asian dude drove a Mustang now we have this stupidity. If she enjoys the car what does it matter? Seriously? I can only imagine what would happen if you ever got fortunate enough to buy a Ferrari...

Euro trash: This fat ugly redneck American just bought an Enzo...he'll probably use it just to go offroading and to make runs to Taco Bell.

Being a 40 year old "soccer mom" I can say for sure that the OP should not judge how or why we should own one of these awsome machines.

I do have the Tahoe with the soccer ball hanging from the mirror that I've been driving and will continue to drive when necessary (can pile a bunch of my son's high school's JV team in it when rides are needed to games). And now I'll have my new GT that my 16 yr old son can't wait to have me drive him back and fourth to school and now track pratice in.

Even at 40 I tend to act more like the kids than the adults My husband keeps reminding me that Red cars (I ordered the redfire) attract more attention with the cops and knowing I sorta have that "lead foot syndrome" he's already sweating. I promised him I would "behave" but we'll have to see what happens when my car comes in which by the way is THIS MONDAY the 29th!!!!!! I can't wait!!!!

Duh...... What is it that you think the Mustang is anyway?? The original Mustang drew its huge success on the fact that it appealled to EVERYBODY, from moms to executives to teenagers, and everybody in-between. The new '05 being driven off the dealer lot by that mom is just history being repeated for the umpteen-thousandth time. My mom drove a new 1967 H.O. 4-speed GTO the year I was born, moved over to a slightly-used low-mile '68 GT500KR Shelby in 1974, Went the sports-car-route in the early 80's with a cool little RX-7 GSL (while she was campaigning for several years in a low-10-second tubbed big-block '69 Camaro in NHRA Super Stock), and then a '89 5-speed Super Coupe, then a '98 5-speed GT Mustang, and now, at the "young" age of 62, she's speed-shifting around town in an '04 350Z Touring with NISMO stainless performance exhaust and NISMO shift knob. I wonder what you would have called her if she were the "old lady" that giddily jumped into that GT and drove off. She's got track time in cars that would make you pee your pants kid.
