I blew the head gasket in my 1989 GT several years ago. I drained the oil and removed the cylinder heads and then I just haven't had time since to do more work on it. It's been sitting in my garage since for several years.
I am hoping to finally finish this but I'm worried the fact that it has been apart and free of oil for so long that I may need to tear it down even more.
Can I get some advice if that's what I need to do? Is there anything I can easily check to make this determination myself?
