Alright, I've been struggling with an idle problem for the last couple weeks. :nonono:

Within the first 10 minutes of driving the car, when coming to a stop, my RPMs will drop to 500 or sometimes lower, then shoot back up to idle, which I have set both mechanically via set screw and electronically to 750. The problem goes away after I've been in the car for 10-15 minutes.

My MAF and ISC are so clean you could eat out of them. I have set my TPS voltage correctly. Resetting the KAMs doesn't solve the problem. I turned the TwEECer to the stock tune and the problem still exists. I have been running the same tune for several months before this problem developed, so I don't think its tune related.

Any ideas?

hmmm, just a thought. Maybe it's time to change out ur ECT.

since you say that its time related my only thought is the ECT. It could be the ACT but I'm not too experienced with that sensor. Maybe they're sending wrong values and pulling out wayyyy to much timing.

I'm sure one with more knowledge will chime in and help ya

Quick question:
If you get ur car up to operating temp...the cut it off for around 5 mins or so and cut it back on...does it still do it?

good luck

I don't know Adam

Seems like the prob is temp related as it goes away as the temps stabilize to normal.

I know you have done several things to find the prob.

Here is a long shot solution for you :D

A good while back I had some info about a 94-95 guy who did the .98 tps volt thing.

Various things were not stable after the change.

He lowered it back a bit.

Everything returned to normal.

The thinking was as temps moved from cold to normal ............
the temp change moved his setting too high.

btw ... that was hear say and NOT confirmed info :)

Let us know what the prob turns out to be.
