Yeah that 5th gear in a 6 speed is real nice for top end stuff. I usualy just do drag so i went with a TKO.

I don't have to much to add about the other transmissions, but I run the TKO500, Mcleod clutch, billet steel flywheel, with a Pro5.0 shifter. It's a great tranny. Haven't put any real power to it, but it is quiet, easy to drive, and feels solid as a rock. Overall I am very impressed with the product.

A good set up is going to run you the 2500 so then you have to pay on top of that

Good setup of what? My tko600 with everything included didnt run more than 2k.

Wierd my whole TKO set up ran just under 2,000 bucks.

You're including a lot of stuff u dont HAVE to have. U only need a new clutch disk. Shifter stops? Those are built into the tranny on the inside with the new TKO's. It comes with a hurst shifter...u only need the handle. Adj cable and quadrant should NOT be included under a TKO swap.

I know the place i went to let me "trade in" my t-5 which helped even more. They only gave me a couple hundred bucks....but it as busted anyway. Synchros were trashed and a couple other things.
